First U.S. test pressing of the first album. Atlantic Recording Studios (Text is visible underneath, secondary label pasted over standard test pressing labels).
Run out groove as follows: Side One, ST-A-681461 - A / 73 (backwards) AT RG W / Side Two, ST-A-681462 - A 73 (backwards) AT RG W.
This is an impossible to find, upper echelon Zeppelin collectible, very few of these exist. They would have been sent to a very limited group of music industry people at the time, and it's unlikely that too many will ever resurface.
Condition: the labels have light aging and minimal wear. The secondary label has some minor staining at its edge. A small piece is detached and sits in the dead wax (visible in photos). The vinyl has wear and scuffs consistent with a Goldmine VG. I have play graded and the visual appearance of the record matches the sound. There is light crackle here and there throughout, and the odd more audible noise. None of this is obtrusive or damaging, and the record plays without skips or hard pops. It is a solid VG.
The cover is almost certainly the original one that the record was housed in, and the Music Man Murray sticker adds further provenience. It has some staining, dulling at corners, and is split 2/3 of the way at the top seam. The word "Zepplin" (sic) is written at the top right in blue ink.
