released in September 1968 especially in this condition by DEEP PURPLE called SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK STEREO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press PARLOPHONE label.
THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE.

Labels are the sensational black / yellow PARLOPHONE format in near EXCELLENT condition .With the PARLOPHONE logo above the central hole on both labels.
to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity.Has only 1 or 2 minor spindle lines With NO damage of any kind.
NO graffiti , NO rips NO tears, and NO sticker marks and would therefore grade as near as EXCELLENT Vinyl Thickly pressed heavy weight vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look .
A magnificent vintage classic .
Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks or blemishes at all Just a couple of light scratches but NO very tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever .An excellent visual and impossible to locate in this condition .Would therefore grade as EXCELLENT Sleeve First issue front laminated 3 flipback Garrod lofthouse sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition Showing some laminate creases to the edges and particularly the corners.
With NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever and is a pleasure to view and a Fantastic collectors item.
This is a fine example of this sensational PARLOPHONE classic.
