Item Description

£100 OF THIS SALE WILL BE DONATED TO MIND MENTAL HEALTH CHARITY.
Vinyl in VG/VG+ condition, labels both in VG+ condition and cover is fantastic with slight damage in one corner (pictured). I will have the record professionally cleaned before shipment. The record plays through phenomenally with no skips or jumps and very little surface noise, test played on Technics turntable on loud speakers. Only slight peaking of the sound near the last two tracks (due to increased volume!)
I copied this description from an earlier listing I found which is the same version: world.
'1:THERE IS THE EARLIEST LABEL DESIGN WITH THE BLACK LABEL WITH GOLD PRINT WHICH WAS BEING CHANGED TO THE MORE COMMON YELLOW/BLACK LABEL WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF THIS LP BEING ISSUED BACK IN 1963.
2:THE "DICK JAMES" PUBLISHER CREDITS FOR THE FOUR BEATLES SONGS ON SIDE 1 AND TWO OF THE BEATLES ON SIDE TWO NOT ON LATER REISSUES.THE 2ND GOLD PRINT LABEL AFTER THE FIRST 25,000 COPIES HAD "NORTHERN SONGS". REMEMBER THAT 25,000 COPIES WOULD HAVE BEEN BOUGHT WITHIN THE FIRST FEW DAYS,PROBABLY  ON THE FIRST DAY GIVEN THE DEMAND FOR THIS IMPORTANT LP RELEASED SHORTLY AFTER THE BAND'S #2 HIT(#1 IN SOME CHARTS)OF THE TITLE TRACK.'
-1 matrix on both sides, any questions please ask!
