Visual: EXC+to MINT-

A superb copy and so difficult to find an unbanded UK 1st mono issue in such wonderful condition. The vinyl appears MINT in strong daylight on close and prolonged inspection under a halogen desk light there are whispy sleeve removal marks and the occasional light surface mark which depending on how the record is angled appears and disappears. There are some fine micro marks in the run out on side two, these have been caused in production when the vinyl was pressed and do not encroach on to the playing area. There are no marks on the vinyl which could in any way be described as scratches or effect the aesthetic of the record when viewed in normal conditions. The vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable.

Labels: EXC+to MINT-

Both labels are completely unworn with evidence of only light spindle trails. The KT tax code is visible on side two. There is no writing or personalization to either label.

A fabulous audiophile copy which is very difficult to fault. There is no groovewear or distortion to any of the music signals. The run-in to Sgt Pepper is quiet as is the run-in toWith a Little Help from My friendsandA Day in the Life, evenShe’s Leaving Homeis free from any unwanted surface noise. Incredibly rare to get an audio of this perfection on an original mono UK 1stpressing.

A superb original 1st issue patents pending Garrod & Lofthouse cover dating to the original release date of June 1967. The cover appears fresh and retains all of its original high gloss laminate which is completely unworn. There is only one small thumbnail to the front panel which is only visible on close inspection. The sleeve crackles as new when opened and the interior gatefold is in MINT condition. The rear panel is virtually flawless and once again the high gloss laminate is completely unworn. The writing on the spine is fully legible. An impressive cover and great to handle in such stunning unworn condition. Now becoming very rare in this condition.

Original psychedelic inner in fresh outstanding condition.
