This 12” diameter, 33 1/3 rpm, long-playing, vinyl record is The Beatles “Yesterday and Today”, Capitol #T2553 ©1966, mono, no. 3 pressing plant indicator next to the RIAA logo on the back. It includes the correct original inner sleeve and a VG- copy of the record.
Mine is the second state version of the “butcher” cover. Apparently, the replacement “trunk” slick didn’t get enough glue at the bottom so clear tape had been applied to that edge (now removed) and some yellowed residue is still visible. Additionally, there’s a 1/2” by 1 1/2” piece of the cover slick missing at the 6:00 position and a tear (not all the way through the slick) at upper left. The seams are well worn and beginning to flake, especially at the spine but no writing or stickers and only moderate ring wear and discoloration. Would be a good candidate for framing, peeled or not.
