Awesome album! Samhain is the band Glenn Danzig had in between Misfits and Danzig. If you like horror and punk, you will love this.

an apacolyptic masterpeice!!!
IF the MISFITS all died and went to HELL, and were hired as the "house band", SAMHAIN would be their new name!!!! Now, dont get me wrong, I LOVE the FITS. and im not degrading them AT ALL, but the new hellish sound that echoed out from behind GLENN after his labors w/the FITS is a force to be reckoned with! "NCF" is a breath-taking recording, from start to finish-as is "initium" and "unholy passion". The blood-soaked trio are BOLD and brutallistic in their sound as well as their appearance. HAMMERING, SOLID drum patterns. The guitar work is VICIOUS, yet just lazy enough to give you the feeling of being dragged thru the mud-holes of hell. And The CRIMSON GHOST himself sounds as haunting as ever. BUY THIS. best tracks: MOTHER of MERCY, TO WALK ... Samhain's Gothic 80's Goodness
Possibly the one of the best albums of Glenn Danzig's rock & roll career, Samhain was Glenn's new project after leaving the Misfits in the early 1980's, Samhain released an E.P. than Initium which were similar to Misfits but November Coming Fire was the jumping board for what would be become Danzig which saw Glenn going more Metal but the great music on N.C.F. is more underground Gothic and definitely sounds like the 80's but don't let that fool you. Samhain november coming fire
This is a great CD it is a mix between the Misfits and Danzig. You have a more serious lyric side that the misfits did not have and does not cross over to the metal side like Danzig it all the Samhain music stays a little more on the punk side. I like all the Danzig works, but i like the Samhain stuff the besst
